The Mariposa Collective joins us for a pair of evenings exploring memory, experience and transformation. Demonstrating the collective’s commitment to artistic innovation and collaboration and featuring original works from a diverse roster of established and emerging local talent, “Reminiscences” will weave together the athleticism of contemporary dance, the narrative depth of theater, and the visual artistry of shadow puppetry.
The Mariposa Collective was founded in Boulder, CO in 1994 by Diane Butler, Barbara Dilley, Carol McDowell, and Polly Motley. The Mariposa Collective is a performing artists collective dedicated to the service and support of contemporary artists and the creative process. Their mission is to support a diverse community by engaging in artistic dialogue, exploring and sharing multi-disciplinary work, and offering quality artistic contributions to the community at large.
