Thompson Park Reopening

After months of renovations, Thompson Park is ready to welcome visitors back to its newly enhanced spaces. The renewal project, which began July of 2024, focused on a complete playground replacement with expanded footprint, the installation of two new picnic shelters, restroom upgrades and additional sidewalks.

To celebrate the park’s transformation, a re-opening event will take place on April 26, 2025, from 1-3 pm. The festivities will include a guided tour, informational booths, music, and fun activities for visitors of all ages.
