Workshop: What is Vision Zero? – Safer People

Wednesday, Oct. 21 · 6 pm - 7:30 pm
Longmont Senior Center 910 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont, CO 80501
A smiling cyclist in a bright pink jersey, helmet, and yellow gloves rides along a tree-lined street, with a gray electric car approaching behind her. Five colored square icons span the image, representing the Safe System elements: safer people (cyclist, pedestrian, driver, and wheelchair user) in navy, safer speeds (speedometer) in green, safer vehicles (motorcycle, car, bus, truck) in blue, safer roads (road) in tan, and post-crash care (ambulance) in orange. In the lower right is the Vision Zero Longmont logo, "Zero Traffic Deaths."

Curious about Vision Zero and and how to be a safe road user?

Join us to learn about Vision Zero and the effort to reduce serious and fatal crashes in Longmont to zero by 2040.

During this free educational workshop, we’ll explore the Safe System approach, how behavior impacts roadway safety, and safety equipment and strategies that can help prevent serious crashes and save lives.
