Youth Life Skills Fair
Sunday, Apr. 6 · 11 am - 4 pm Boulder County Fairgrounds 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, Colorado 80501
Teens aged 11-17 can explore hands-on workshops on everything from health and practical skills to job opportunities and local City resources. Set in a festival atmosphere, the day will include games, a live DJ and food trucks offering refreshments for purchase.
While exploring stations on health, future careers and more, youth will gain opportunities to win prizes. The fair aims to give all youth an opportunity to acquire new skills and explore diverse career paths while enjoying each other’s company. New this year is a dedicated parent area, where guardians can gain information and skills to better support their teens – and find ways to entertain younger children attending the event,
Representatives from the Longmont Youth Center will be on hand to introduce themselves to participants and share details on the many free afterschool programs and services they offer.
While the fair is free, pre-registration is recommended to speed up entry on April 6. Register and learn more at LongmontColorado.gov/LifeSkills.
If you have questions about the event or would like assistance with registration, please call the Longmont Youth Center at 303-651-6580, or visit in person at 1050 Lashley Street.
