Fox Meadows Neighborhood Park

The playground at Fox Meadows Neighborhood Park is seen with tall play structures against a clear blue sky.

Neighborhood Park Hours: 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset

Completed in 2025, this new park is located at 636 Deerwood Drive; south of Ninth Avenue and west of Weld County Road #1. Until now, this area of eastern Longmont was one of oldest sections of the city not served by a neighborhood park.

Welcoming visitors into the park is a 15-foot-tall sculpture of a bugling bull elk standing atop a sculpted rock ledge. Created by Colorado-based steel sculptor Pavia Justinian, the piece was commissioned by Longmont’s Art in Public Places and is now part of their permanent collection.

Features in the park include chess tables, a half basketball court, nature discovery area, an official size bocce court, restrooms, separate playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12, shaded shelters and an 82-foot long zipline.

City utility bills received Feb. 27 through Mar. 10 contain a printing error. Find out more details here.
