Clubhouse and Shelter Use

Clubhouse: The Izaak Walton Clubhouse is available to rent for up to 95 people at a time. For facility details and information, please see below. View photos of the Clubhouse on Flickr.

Shelter: The Izaak Walton Shelter (located outside of the Clubhouse) is not available for general reservation and is free on a first-come, first-served basis when the clubhouse is not in use. It can be reserved for a full day in conjunction with rental of the Izaak Walton Clubhouse.

Izaak Walton Clubhouse Rental Details 

Maximum capacity is 95 people or less.

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday – $75 per hour for Longmont residents / $93.75 per hour for non-residents
• 4-hour minimum reservation / Contract signatures are required
• Limited availability on Monday-Thursday; call 303-651-8443 for details.
• $200 building deposit, plus reservation fees required at time of reservation
• Tables (twelve 5′ round and twelve 8-foot rectangular tables) and approximately 90 chairs included.
• Refrigerator and Microwave
• No Smoking – No Alcohol, No Live Bands, No amplified sound (i.e. DJ), all City noise ordinances must be adhered to.
• The facility key may be picked up at the Memorial Building (700 Longs Peak Ave) within two business days prior to the rental.
• Recreation Services may provide a building attendant on Friday evening and weekend rentals.
• Parking spaces are not guaranteed, as they are shared by users of the St. Vrain Greenway.

Izaak Walton Clubhouse Rental Terms & Conditions

1. All rentals must end by 10 pm.
2. Reservations must be made by an adult 18 years and older.
3. Alcohol is not allowed inside or outside the clubhouse.
4. Smoking is not allowed inside the building.
5. Decorations are permitted as long as they are not attached to permanent fixtures (walls, windows, woodwork, ceiling) and must comply with the City Fire Code. All decorations must be removed at completion of rental (balloons included). No lit candles or confetti allowed.
6. The Recreation Center Supervisor is responsible for determining whether a building attendant is required, based on customer service needs and safety of the building including but not limited to; Nature of the rental and potential for damage, availability of a building attendant and rentals between 6 pm and 10 pm.
7. The facility and its contents must be left in a clean, properly functioning and orderly condition upon completion of use. Please empty all trash and sweep and mop the floor, wipe down tables and kitchen area.
8. The renter is responsible for setting up and taking down tables and chairs and must be in their rental time frame or extra hourly fees will apply.

Izaak Walton Clubhouse Rental Refund Policy

• A $5 processing fee is charged for all rental cancellations.
• If you cancel seven days prior to your event you will receive your fee paid less $5.
• If you cancel less then seven days to your planned event you will receive 1/2 your fee paid, and less $5.
