Catalog and Registration – Senior Services

The LSC’s quarterly GO Catalog is your resource for the best 55+ programming Longmont has to offer. Volunteer, join a club, host a class, and meet your new neighborhood friends!

The Summer GO for June, July, and August 2024 is now available, and registration is open for all spring programs. View the Summer GO online now, or pick up a copy in print at the Senior Center. Subscriptions are also available for purchase, please see the back cover for more information.

Senior Services FALL Registration

• The Fall GO for September-December will be available in print at the Senior Center after August 6. View the Fall GO online now!
• Registration for classes, programs, and special events begins on Monday, August 12th at 8 am. You can register in person, over the phone, or online.
• Registration for Day Trips begins in-person at Trip Registration on Friday, August 16 from 3-5  pm. You can register online or over the phone beginning on August 19.
• Fall Hike Registration procedure – Hike Registration for September-October hikes will be completed via our new e-lottery. Fall hike submission sheets can be turned in to our front desk from August 6-20, with communication to follow to registered/waitlisted hikers by the end of the day on Friday, August 23 via email.  You can register online or over the phone beginning on August 26.

All programs are occurring in person at the Senior Center unless otherwise noted. Please look for terms like “online” or “virtual” to denote online programs.

Trip Registration Lottery: How to Participate

Our Senior Services day trips are extremely popular. In fairness to all and to eliminate the need to arrive early, each quarter’s first day of trip registration is done lottery style. Numbers are distributed to participants as they arrive and corresponding numbers are placed in a tumbler and drawn randomly throughout the assigned time frame. When your number is called, you will have the opportunity to register for trips for yourself and one other older person. An activity registration form is required, one form per person.

Beginning Monday after the trip registration lottery, you may register for available trips at the front desk or over the phone, 303-651-8411 or online at the registration button above.

Scholarships

The Senior Center offers scholarships to participate in various activities. Persons with a total annual income (from all sources) of $43,900 or less for a single person and $50,200 or less for a couple can qualify. Scholarships expire on December 11 of each year and participants will need to re-apply in the new year. Call 303-651-8411 for more information.
