All boards play an important role in public policy development and implementation, protection and stewardship of the City’s assets, and in guiding City Council on decisions important to the Longmont community. All positions are volunteer and residents may only serve on one City of Longmont Board, Committee or Commission at a time. All Board members are limited to serving two consecutive terms (except for the Master Board of Appeals which has no term limits).
