How to access and read eBooks

The Longmont Public Library has partnered with other local libraries and offers downloadable eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eMagazines through an app called Libby. This service is free for Library card holders.

  • You will need a Longmont Library card to sign up to use Libby.
  • Get immediate access to 1000’s of books that are available. Place online holds and get notified when a checked out book becomes available.
  • eMagazines are unlimited, so they are always available.
  • Are you Dyslexic? The Libby app has a special setting to display a dyslexic-friendly font.
  • Your default PIN is the last four digits of your phone number that is associated with your Library card account. If you did not include a phone number on your account, try using 1234.
