Longmont Municipal Code
- Ordinances adopted by City Council are effective 10 days after publication unless otherwise specified in the ordinance.
- Adopted ordinances will appear under “Adopted Ordinances Not Yet Codified” approximately two weeks after adoption.
- Ordinances are codified (meaning incorporated into the existing code language) two times per year.

D. Part 7, “Rights of way,” section 711;
E. Part 10, “Driving-overtaking-passing,” sections 1007(2), 1011 and 1012;
F. Part 11, “Speed regulations,” sections 1105(5), (6), (7), (8) and (9);
G. Part 12, “Parking,” sections 1203, 1210, and 1212;
H. Part 14, “Other offenses,” section 1416;
I. Part 17, “Penalties and procedure,” in its entirety;
J. Part 18, “Vehicles abandoned on public property” in its entirety;
K. Part 19, “School buses,” sections 1901, 1902, and 1904;
L. All subsections of the 2020 edition of the model traffic code that categorize violations into classes of traffic infractions, traffic offenses, misdemeanors or which set forth a specific penalty for a violation, whether monetary or otherwise.
