Aqua Jobs for Aqua-Holics!
Aqua Jobs for Aqua-Holics!
Can you believe it? Spring-break is over, and summer is just around the corner! April and early May are the best times to line up summer employment, so check out our upcoming aquatic certification classes, and apply to be a member on our aquatic team.
We are currently hiring staff to work at all City of Longmont Pools (Longmont Recreation Center, Centennial Pool, Sunset Pool, Kanemoto & Roosevelt Activity Pools) and Union Reservoir.
Open Positions:
Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Water Safety Instructors (WSI), Senior Lifeguards (Union Reservoir), Assistant Pool Managers, and Pool Managers.
A cool thing about working in aquatics (besides the obvious of working at a POOL), is, you don’t have to do just one position at one facility! For example, you can teach swim lessons in the morning at Sunset Pool, and in the afternoon, lifeguard at the Longmont Recreation Center. With the City of Longmont employee recreation pass, you can even throw in a workout to have a well rounded day!
If you already have experience and certifications, apply online today.
If you need certifications, here is a list of our upcoming classes. Discounts are offered for future City of Longmont employees. Register at Centennial Pool (303-651-8406 or in-person) and when registering, tell the folks at the front desk that you want to work for the City of Longmont!
