Breaking Loose (Full Speed Ahead blog)

It’s Spring Break. (Yay!)

Which also means it’s NextLight season. (Huh?)

Sorry, we still don’t have a way for you to take Longmont’s favorite fiber-optic service with you to Cancun or Orlando. But if you think about it, NextLight is a lot like a really good Spring Break:  Laughing man is seated on the floor of his home as a smiling woman shows him a tablet and a small child approaches both of them.

  • It’s great when you’re taking off and when you come home again: With matching upload and download speeds, you’re always assured of a good journey, whether you’re playing games, sharing videos or just searching for that perfect Caribbean photo collection.
  • You feel truly free: That’s what happens when you don’t have a contract term, a data cap, or hidden fees cramping your cyberspace journey.
  • Everything is taken care of: A good resort looks after your needs. A good internet service even more so. And when you’ve got no-cost installation and tech support right in the neighborhood … well, that makes a pretty nice splash even without being poolside.
  • You really, really want to brag about it: Whether it’s showing off the shots from Cabo or talking up your reliable gig-speed service, it’s always fun to impress a neighbor. And while the beach pix just get you bragging points, talking up your NextLight can get you $50 off your bill when your neighbor signs up, too. (You can even brag about it to the whole country through the PC Mag Reader’s Choice survey and maybe get a $250 gift card out of it.)

All that and no sunburn. Awesome!

So if you know someone who hasn’t taken the NextLight journey yet, take a little time to encourage them to come along.

It just might be a Spring Break they never forget. Â
