Choices, Choices
Choices, Choices
There’s a classic song that still pops up on oldies radio: “Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind?”
More and more these days, the answer is “No way!” Choice isn’t just for the cereal aisle anymore. Workplaces can be in the office or the living room. Streaming services exist for every style of viewing: enough, in fact, that it’s helpful to have a guide to it all.
So when it comes to one of the most basic choices of all – how do I pay my bill? – you’d better believe we have options available to fit all your needs.
We’ve mentioned this before on the NextLight side of things, where you can pay online, over the phone, auto-pay by electronic check or even stop by or drop a check in the mail. (Check out our blog on NextLight payment for details!) As it happens, your city utility bill is just as flexible. There may not quite be 50 ways to leave your payment (sorry, Paul Simon), but there’s still a pretty good list, including:
- Paying online 24/7 at longmontcolorado.gov/utility-billing
- Paying over the phone by calling 303-651-8664, either 24 hours a day through the Paymentus automated system or during business hours with a live agent
- Setting up recurring automatic payments by calling 303-651-8664
- Stopping by the Civic Center (350 Kimbark St.) to pay in person during business hours
- Leaving a check or money order in the drop box across the street from the Civic Center
- Paying at King Soopers, Safeway or Walmart using Western Union (bring your bill with you)
There’s more about all this, naturally, on the Longmont Utility Billing webpage. So whether you’re high-tech, old-school or in between, we’ve got you covered. Check it out!
And if you’ve still got the song in your head, my apologies. Even a full array of choices can do only so much against The Lovin’ Spoonful.
