City of Longmont Job Fair at Longmont Recreation Center
City of Longmont Job Fair at Longmont Recreation Center
The City of Longmont’s Community Services Department is hosting a job fair in March to fill a wide variety of positions in 2022. Join us in the lobby of the Longmont Recreation Center at 310 Quail Road on either Wednesday, March 16 from 4-6 p.m. or Sunday, March 27 from 12-2 p.m. for open interviews. Positions are available for ages 15+.
The Community Services Job Fair is a unique opportunity to talk to staff members about what it is like to work for the City of Longmont, have your questions answered about various jobs, and have a job-interview on the spot—even for summer-only positions! Leave the job fair knowing what the next steps are for a job with Longmont Recreation, Golf, Senior Services, and the Longmont Museum. Positions available include lifeguards, grounds maintenance, building supervisors, front desk staff, fitness instructor, pool manager, day camp leader, custodians, concessions, sports officials, visitor services and more!
- Want a job with very limited evenings and no weekends? Apply to be a summer day camp leader or daytime lifeguard.
- Only want to work evenings and weekends? Become a lifeguard, swim instructor, front desk receptionist/building supervisor, sports official, or athletic field supervisor.
- Value a consistent schedule that fits YOUR availability? Try a position as a lifeguard, fitness instructor, swim instructor, front desk receptionist, sports official, learn-to-skate instructor, grounds maintenance technician, or golf seasonal landscape grounds technician.
- In school and want the ability to work more hours on weeks you are available (like winter/spring/summer breaks)? Apply to be a lifeguard or member of our front desk staff.
- Love to swim and be around water? Join our aquatics team as a lifeguard, swim instructor, fitness instructor, or pool manager.
- Prefer to stay on land and indoors? Interview as a front desk receptionist, building supervisor, sports official, custodian, visitor services rep, or fitness instructor.
- Prefer the wide-open outdoors? Join us as a sports official, athletic field supervisor, ice skate guard, day camp leader, lifeguard, swim instructor, fitness instructor, grounds maintenance technician, or golf seasonal landscape grounds technician.
- Looking for a job that includes physical activity and the opportunity to make new friends? Apply as a fitness instructor, swim instructor, sports official, sports coach, ice skate guard, or day camp leader!
- Are you 15 years old and wondering what you can do? Jobs for 15 year olds are limited to aquatic positions as either a lifeguard or a Longmont swim instructor. These two positions are a great way to develop your experience working as part of a team and, as a teacher, working with children.
- Want an annual Recreation pass for under $30? Good news! You can get a Recreation Pass benefit with ANY City of Longmont job!
