Connecting to Class

Array of school supplies on a wooden surface, including a computer keyboardThe St. Vrain school year has gotten underway. Supply lists have been checked and re-checked, to make sure students have what they need to succeed.

These days, those needs include a high-speed internet connection at home. For Longmont families, that means NextLight with its best-in-the-nation fiber-optic service. And for families that need a little extra help to cross the digital divide, we can even provide it for free.

Income-qualified families – such as those on free or reduced lunch programs, for example – have been able to get a free NextLight connection since 2019. These days, it’s part of the Affordable Connectivity Program, where participants can get 100-megabit NextLight service at no cost or gigabit service for just $19.95/month.

How do you get started? It’s as easy as this:

  • Check out our Free Internet Service page to see if you’re eligible. It’s not just for school lunch-assisted families, so make sure to visit the page and check out our list of who qualifies.
  • If you qualify, submit an online application, making sure to include anything listed in the application requirements.
  • If you need help with the process, call our team at 303-774-4494. We’ll be glad to help.

Take a moment to look it over. It may just be what your family needs to connect to a fantastic learning experience.

And that’s always a class act.
