Construction Impacts the Intersection of Coffman Street and Longs Peak Avenue

Este artículo de noticias trata sobre la próxima construcción del Proyecto de Mejoras de Movilidad de Coffman Street. Si necesita esta información en español, llame al 303-651-8416.

Starting September 3, there will be a full closure of both lanes of traffic on Longs Peak Avenue between Coffman Street and Terry Street for approximately two weeks. Traffic on Longs Peak Avenue from Main Street will be able to turn right onto northbound Coffman Street only. Traffic on Longs Peak Avenue heading east from Bross Street will need to detour at Terry Street to 6th Avenue.

When the full closure is lifted, one lane of traffic will be open to through traffic on Longs Peak Avenue across Coffman Street. Work on the intersection will continue for several months with intermittent lane closures as necessary to complete planned improvements to the intersection, including new traffic signals and pavement. This work is expected to be finished by mid-December.

Also starting next week, construction will move south on Coffman Street between Longs Peak Avenue and 6th Avenue. The southbound lane of Coffman Street will be closed from 9th Avenue to 6th Avenue until construction shifts to the east side of Coffman Street at the end of the year.
