Explore More with Longmont’s New Public Lands Map
The City of Longmont announces its updated Public Lands Map. It’s an easy-to-use, interactive map that helps residents and visitors explore parks, greenways, open spaces and nature areas. The redesigned map ensures that accurate, up-to-date information is available to everyone. It also encourages community engagement and provides greater City transparency.

With the new map, everyone can:
- Discover parks, trails, greenways, and natural areas across Longmont
- Search for amenities such as bike parks, sport courts, water activities and more
- Explore local nature preserves and areas for passive recreation
- Access links to park webpages, trail closure updates, and Art in Public Places installations
- Navigate an updated, responsive map with improved search and filter tools
This map was created by the LANDSPACE team with input from several City workgroups. This team unites expertise from Open Space, Water Resources, Environmental Compliance and GIS.
“This launch represents an important milestone in the City’s effort to modernize and improve access to public facing land information,” said Elisa Champ, City of Longmont Senior Project Manager. “We invite everyone to save the map to their favorites and begin exploring more of Longmont’s many outdoor opportunities today.”
