Dr. Kellie Stivers doesn’t hold back when she’s asked about her NextLight experience.

“What I would tell other customers and business owners who have not yet switched over to NextLight is you should have done it yesterday,” Stivers said. “But there’s still time today.”

Stivers is the co-owner and chief medical officer of Rocky Mountain Beauty Bar, one of many local businesses that have benefitted from a high-speed community-owned NextLight fiber connection. After all, when you’re running a full-service med spa and salon, you want your staff and patients to focus on beauty, comfort and whole-person care … not on an internet hiccup that’s keeping you from filling out a form.  Waiting area for Rocky Mountain Beauty Bar with two chairs, a long coffee table with a furry cover and magazines, a smaller end table between the chairs with information, and an abstract painting on the wall in black and white.

“When we have all of our rooms going and all of our providers working … that’s a lot of data transfer,” Stivers said. “NextLight has made such a huge difference for our business. In the last two years since we’ve been here, we’ve had zero problems. We can always count on them.”

She’s not alone. Satisfied NextLight business customers have also included a karate studio, a towing company, an acupuncture clinic and many more besides. And if you like what Rocky Mountain Beauty Bar has to say, you can also go to our NextLight page to learn more about what Longmont’s own internet offers to home offices, small businesses  and major companies to provide the speed, quality and local support you need.

It just might be the start of something beautiful.
