The City of Longmont will once again open the application period for its Flood Recovery Housing Programs. These programs include home repair, down payment assistance, and temporary rental assistance for qualified residents whose housing was damaged or destroyed by the September 2013 flood.
The application period will be open from Monday, November 3 until 5 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015. All applications must be received by the City of Longmont Housing and Community Investment Division, 350 Kimbark Street, by 5 pm on April 30, 2015 in order to be processed for consideration.
The Housing Programs are available for qualified households with priority given to those who were residing in mobile/manufactured housing at the time of the flood, are elderly, and/or are disabled.
Households must have been Longmont residents at the time of the flood to qualify for the Home Repair and Temporary Rental Assistance programs. For the Down Payment Assistance Program, income-eligible households do not need to have been Longmont residents but must have housing directly damaged or destroyed by the flood and purchase in Boulder County
