BIFF and the LSC Partner to Provide Free Film Festival Tickets

Boulder International Film Festival—or BIFF, as it’s affectionately known—is just around the corner. This annual event is coming up from February 25th to the 28th in multiple locations in and around Boulder, Colorado and Longmont Senior Services has a free ticket for you! The LSC has partnered with BIFF for several years, providing free tickets to select films for our residents fifty-five years of age and older. The LSC is pleased to reprise the program again this year, connecting our older adults with the inspirational and informational stories that are the hallmark of a great film festival.

BIFF is a great opportunity to get out for date night, friend night, and to see films that are thoughtful, engaging, and conversation-provoking. Kari Grotting, Volunteer Coordinator at Longmont Senior Services is a proud proponent of the BIFF partnership, noting that the festival “values seniors and wants to support their continued involvement and engagement even if some older adults can’t afford the luxury of a movie night out.” She adds that there is usually a representative of the film present at the screening, creating even more value to the experience in interviews and talk-backs.

To take advantage of this opportunity for free BIFF tickets on select films, email Kari Grotting or call 303-651-8495. Limited seats are available and Senior Services does their best to fulfill first or second choices for films. For the complete list of available tickets, call, email, or visit the Longmont Senior Center at 910 Longs Peak Ave. Tickets must be picked up at the Longmont Senior Center prior to showings. Please note that available tickets are for screenings in Boulder. For the full BIFF schedule of events and programs for the festival weekend, visit their website at www.biff1.com.
