Friends of the Longmont Library honored with 2024 CAL Volunteer of the Year Award

The Friends of the Longmont Library are proud to announce that they have been selected as the recipient of the 2024 Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Volunteer of the Year Award. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the volunteers who tirelessly support the Longmont Library and its mission, programs and services.

 

Nominated by Longmont resident Cynthia Keller, the Friends of the Longmont Library were chosen by the CAL Awards Committee and the CAL Board for their exceptional contributions and unwavering commitment to the Longmont Library and the community it serves.

 

The award will be presented at the CAL Awards Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 5, at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, Colo. The event will take place from 12:15-2 pm.

 

“We are incredibly honored to receive this award,” said a spokesperson for the Friends of the Longmont Library. “Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization, and this recognition is a celebration of their passion and dedication.”
