These days, comparison shopping on internet service looks a lot like going to the grocery store. That’s because the Federal Communications Commission now requires providers to display a “nutrition label” that looks like the one you see on a bottle of ketchup or a box of cereal. Only instead of calories, sugar content and so on, these labels clearly spell out things like how much you’ll pay for internet, what speeds you can expect, and any special limits, charges or contract terms.  

You can find our labels right on the NextLight website – both an explanation of how all this works as well as detailed labels for each of our connections. Spoiler alert: you’re probably not going to be shocked or surprised by what you find.  

Why? Because you’re our owners as well as our customers. So it’s always been important to be up front with you. (Especially when we all know providers who haven’t been.)  

We don’t mess with your rates every year and make you dance with us on the phone to try to bring the price down.  

We don’t cap your data or slip in extra charges for using our internet a lot. Go ahead and fire up the fiber – the meter isn’t running.  

And we certainly don’t play bait-and-switch, with a dazzling contract that offers you an appealing price in year one only to drop the bomb in year two. In fact, with NextLight, you don’t get tied down with a contract at all.  

That’s what happens when a service is all about you.
