Join us on Tuesday, September 25th from 6:30-8:30pm at the Longmont Senior Center (910 Longs Peak Ave) to learn about your Ancestry DNA test results! All ages are welcome at this LSC and SCTC co-sponsored class. Genealogist Patricia Jordan Roberts will presenting a ‘tour’ of Ancestry DNA, teaching how to go ‘cousin fishing,’ and answering many of the questions that you might have about what it all means to get your DNA test results back. Class is $2 for residents, $3 for non-residents.

According to AncestryDNA.com, “Your AncestryDNA results include information about your geographic origins across 350 regions and identifies potential relatives through DNA matching to others who have taken the AncestryDNA test. Your results are a great starting point for more family history research, and it can also be a way to dig even deeper into the research you’ve already done.” DNA ancestry tests have uncovered long-lost siblings, indigenous roots, and maps your ethnicity across generations. For questions and to register, please call the Longmont Senior Center at 303-651-8411.
