Get ready to read with Wintertime BINGO at Longmont Library
The Longmont Library is thrilled to announce its upcoming Wintertime BINGO reading challenge, inviting readers of all ages to embark on an exciting literary journey throughout the winter months. This reading challenge encourages participants to embrace “cozy season” by engaging with the Library in new and fun ways all season long. There’s also the chance to win prizes!
Winter Reading BINGO begins Friday, Dec. 19, and runs through Jan. 5 for kids and teens, and Feb. 28 for adults. Complete activities like reading new genres, watching movies, listening to audiobooks, and more. Kids get a prize for completing a BINGO, and adults who complete all BINGO activities are entered into a drawing for one of two $50 gift cards.
“Reading is the perfect way to stay warm and engaged during the winter,” said Claire Studholme, the Children and Teen Services Librarian and Manager. “Our Wintertime BINGO program is a fantastic opportunity for families and individuals to discover new books, explore different genres, and have some fun along the way. Plus, there are exciting prizes to be won!”
English and Spanish BINGO boards, tailored to different age groups and abilities, will be available at the Longmont Library and online, beginning Dec. 19.
Wintertime BINGO is open to everyone in the community and it’s a perfect way to encourage the joy of reading and lifelong learning.
