Gimme Five!

Missy is the queen of the high five.

Granted, Missy is the queen of a lot of things at our house. Spontaneous dancing. Bowling. Christmas music in the middle of July. Even with a developmental disability that makes it hard for her to talk, she has a way of making herself understood.

And so, when it’s time to celebrate a victory, the ritual is clear: “Hey, Missy! High-five!”

You might receive a tap on the hand. You might receive a solid smack that leaves her rubbing her hand theatrically with a wide grin. But there’s no doubt – when you get five from Missy, something’s happened that’s worth celebrating.

And now, for that same reason, it’s time for us to give Longmont five.

Or rather, 55.

Blue number five birthday candleAs you might remember from a recent blog piece, NextLight’s celebrating five years in Longmont this year. It’s been an exciting ride, not least because of the community that’s lined up behind us every step of the way. You’ve hooked up your homes and businesses. You’ve touted us to your neighbors and your online friends. And you’ve encouraged everyone that crosses your path to sign up for Longmont’s own fiber-optic internet service.

We love it. And we’re going to be doing some extra encouraging ourselves.

To celebrate our fifth anniversary, we’re offering new subscribers the chance to get our home gigabit service for $55/month if they sign up by Dec. 31. The same speed that’s wowed the nation, the same reliability that Longmont loves, and a “happy birthday” price to welcome some new members to our fiber family.

And while we’re at it – don’t forget that if you’re already a NextLight customer, you can get a present of your own for helping spread the word. Any time you refer someone to us who signs up for NextLight and drops your name, we give you $50 off your next month’s internet service. They win. You win. And the Gig City gets a little bigger.

Check it out. Spread the word. It’s time to get excited again about what we’ve done together.

Give yourselves a high-five.

I’m sure Missy’ll be glad to help.
