Going With the Flow (More Power to You blog)
This blog has often talked about the electric side of Efficiency Works. And that’s only natural; after all, it has a lot of great ways to save money and energy for your home or your business. There’s good advice, good rebates and even an online store to buy helpful devices like air purifiers or smart thermostats.  Â
But Efficiency Works also supports water-saving programs and rebates. Programs which will soon transition to be managed by the City instead. Â
Starting Jan. 1, 2026, the City of Longmont will become your one-stop water efficiency shop. That includes the whole collection on our water rebates page, such as the rebates for high-efficiency toilets, ENERGY STAR clothes washers, sprinkler system equipment, and much more. Efficiency Works, meanwhile, will keep providing that great energy efficiency h
elp. Â
How do you apply for those water rebates? The same way that many of you probably apply for them now: go to the water rebate page, see what you need and follow the links to the appropriate application. Right now, those links still point to Efficiency Works, but starting Jan. 1, they’ll point to the City’s forms and information instead. Â
Brand-new links. Same great offerings. Same great savings.  Â
So, keep taking advantage of these rebates to help your home and business. Because whether it’s now or after the New Year, we’ll keep making it easy for you.  Â
It might even be the stuff that streams are made of.  Â
