Hover Street Closed Aug. 7-11 between Ken Pratt Boulevard and Pike Road for Construction
Hover Street will be closed between State Highway 119 (Ken Pratt Boulevard) and Pike Road to replace deteriorating concrete panels along the railroad where it crosses the roadway. This construction project is in partnership with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad (BNSF). The construction is expected to begin Monday, Aug. 7 and conclude Friday, Aug. 11 with traffic detoured during this time.
Although Hover Street will be closed to southbound and northbound traffic, access to businesses will remain open. Please follow detour signs around the closure. There will be no pedestrian or cyclist access at the railroad tracks on Hover Street. The State Highway 119 underpass will remain open during construction.
Traffic detour signage will be posted during the construction. A list of detour options is below and available on the following map.
Traffic detours on Hover Street:
- Northbound detour: Pike Road (east) – Sunset Street (north) – Ken Pratt Boulevard (west) – Hover Street (North)
- Southbound detour: Ken Pratt Boulevard (east) – Sunset Street (south) – Pike Road (west) – Hover Street (South)
