Each year, the Colorado State Library conducts a huge book giveaway statewide, with the aim of putting a new book in the hands of every 4-year-old child in the state, and once again, the Longmont Public Library is participating. Families with 4-year-old children are encouraged to stop by the Children’s and Teen Services Desk at the Library between April 8th and 22nd and pick up a free “One Book Colorado” picture book to be shared with the preschooler and entire family. Books are available in English and Spanish, and the giveaway will continue while supplies last.
