Longmont Gift of Home Tour
You are invited to The Gift of Home Tour, a benefit for Longmont Meals on Wheels!
The Gift of Home Tour is a self-guided tour of three beautifully decorated homes with decorations available for purchase, running November 29th & 30th and December 1st. Expect plenty of extra festivities, including a luncheon on Friday or Saturday 11am-2pm, drawings, and a silent auction which is open to the public (not just ticket holders)!
“I’m excited to be part of the tour behind the scenes and watch it happen start to finish,” said Meghan Altland, the new Program Services Manager for Longmont Meals on Wheels. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the people who come every year and make it part of their Christmas tradition. As the volunteer coordinator for the event, it’s exciting to see how many folks sign up to volunteer and bring their friends with them. And of course, for me, I love Christmas, and I cannot wait to see how each room at each house is decorated.”
On Thursday, November 29th from 5-9pm, VIP ticket holders enjoy dinner at one of four local restaurants and an opportunity to preview the homes that evening or come back through Saturday. VIP Tickets are $45.
General Admission tickets ($20 in advance, $25 at the door) are for Friday, November 30th and Saturday, December 1st. Longmont Meals on Wheels will host a luncheon at the Longmont Senior Center (included with ticket price) on both days 11a.m. – 2p.m. Homes will be open for touring 10a.m. – 7p.m. on Friday and 9a.m. – 3p.m. Saturday.Tickets are available online, or at Longmont Meals on Wheels, the Longmont Senior Center, Ace Hardware, Longmont Florist, Niche Design House, Woodley’s Fine Furniture, Niwot Market, Simply Home Consignments or Front Range Mercantile.
The Gift of Home Tour is a benefit for Longmont Meals on Wheels, a Longmont Charity that provides meals and wellness visits to seniors, people with disabilities and people returning from a hospital stay.
