Longmont launches new City website
The City of Longmont has launched its new website, with a redesign focused on greater ease of use by visitors.
This marks the first major redesign for the city’s website since 2014 and is aimed at making its information easier to navigate and search, as well as making it simpler to use on a mobile device. The City also plans to offer more information in Spanish and will also provide a new online utility payment portal.
“Our website is often the first place anyone goes to learn about Longmont, so it’s vital for a new user to be able to quickly and easily find what they’re looking for,” said Assistant City Manager Sandi Seader. “We wanted to give our visitors a clearer layout, a better search engine and a good experience in finding what they need, however they choose to access the site.”
The new site will continue to use the same Web address at longmontcolorado.gov.
Utility customers who previously had online or automatic bill payment set up will need to create a new account at MyUtilityAccount.longmontcolorado.gov and re-register their information. Customers will need their utility billing account number to start the process. Once this is complete, they will continue to enjoy the ability to access their account and pay their bill 24 hours a day. Those who need further assistance can call Utility Billing at 303-651-8664.
“We’re always looking to improve the service we provide to our residents and businesses,” Seader said. “This is another step in our continuing effort to make a better Longmont for everyone.”
