Longmont Library to host free family events centered around Halloween, Day of the Dead
Celebrate the upcoming spooky season and Day of the Dead holiday by attending one of the many FREE events hosted by the Longmont Library:
- Halloween Storytime: 10-10:30 am on Thursday, Oct. 31 in the Library Meeting Rooms. For all ages. Costumes are encouraged but not required to have fun. Event is free to attend; no registration required.
- Day of the Dead/Día de Muertos Storytime: 10-10:30 am on Friday, Nov. 1 in the Library Meeting Rooms. For all ages. We’ll read stories about Día de Muertos, sing songs and make paper flowers. Event is free to attend; no registration required.
- The Library @ Sandstone Ranch: Celebrate Día de Muertos: 10 am-noon on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Sandstone Ranch Visitors & Learning Center, 3001 Sandstone Drive. Join Ms. Lili from the Longmont Library for a family fun day where we’ll read about traditions, set up the Día de Muertos offering, make paper flowers & papel picado, drink hot chocolate and eat pan de muerto! Come dressed in costumes if you wish! Event is free to attend; however, registration is required at bit.ly/LibOutreach.
