Longmont Skyline Kiwanis to Provide a Community Fireworks Show on July 4th

allow police fire jobs july 4th

Historically, the City has partnered with the Longmont Skyline Kiwanis to provide a community fireworks show on July 4th. Last year, the event was cancelled due to COVID concerns, and this year, since the safety of community gatherings was still unclear during planning, the Longmont Skyline Kiwanis are hosting a private event at the Fox Hill Country Club on the evening of July 4. The event has been permitted by Boulder County and includes a fireworks show which is set to launch at 9:45 pm. This light display will be launched from the Fox Hill County Club Golf Course in unincorporated Boulder County and will likely be able to be seen from many areas of Longmont.

As such, residents should be aware that residents will not be permitted on the Fox Hill Golf Course as spectators. Residents in the immediate area are asked to stay home and view from your own property. Others who are interested in watching the show can do so by utilizing the public parking lots at Steven Day Park, Clark Centennial and Sandstone Ranch. Union Reservoir will have expanded hours to accommodate parking (regular entrance fees apply). Parking is not available at the Boulder County Fairgrounds.

Please be considerate of those who live in the immediate area. Do not park in neighborhoods adjacent to the Fox Hill County Club Golf Course or other adjoining neighborhoods. Vehicles will also not be permitted to park along Hwy 119 or in the Longs Peak Hospital parking lot.
The Skyline Kiwanis main sponsors for 2021 fireworks show are Wyatt’s Wine & Spirits, Centennial Lending and Ward’s Electric.
