Longmont Recreation and Golf Services have just completed a new ADA compliant renovation in the leisure pool at the Longmont Recreation Center, 310 Quail Road.  Heather Deal, Aquatic Specialist for the city of Longmont, said the renovation was spurred on by the need for something new and exciting to rejuvenate the leisure pool, as it had been 12 years since the facility first opened. An ADA compliant structure was highly desirable.

The new structure features a dumping trough, double racer slides, shower flow curtain, pipe shower, play drop jet, play tumble bucket, and a variety of water sprays along the platform area. While tailored for children under the age of 10, the structure is readily appropriate for parent/child play and for all those young at heart.
