Northern Front Range Breaks Record for Poor Air Quality

The Denver Metro North Front Range, including Boulder County, has had more than 53 ozone action alerts since May, breaking the record for number of alerts issued in a single season since record keeping began in 2011. Longmont residents have several free options for air quality updates. At the EPA’s website www.AirNow.gov you can get current air quality information, forecasts, and sign up for alerts. The State of Colorado also provides alerts and you can sign up at https://www.colorado.gov/airquality/request_alerts.aspx.
