Peace Officer Memorial

Longmont Police will be hosting their Peace Officer Memorial on Wednesday, May 18, from 1pm-2pm on the front steps of the Longmont Safety and Justice Building, 225 Kimbark Street. The public is invited to attend. The department will pay tribute to those police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty in 2015.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated a Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week.
