Police Seek Video in Area of Kensington Park, 100 Longs Peak Avenue

On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at approximately 11:07 pm, a Longmont officer was dispatched on a report of a shooting in the area of Kensington and E Longs Peak Ave. Officers made contact and saw a bullet hole through the rear window of a vehicle. 

Longmont Police believe multiple individuals in the park on foot were associated with this shooting. At least one of these individuals is responsible for firing at this vehicle. The two juveniles inside the vehicle were not injured.

Longmont Police are seeking assistance in obtaining home/business surveillance video between 10:45 pm and 11:00 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in the following area: Martin on the West to Lashley Street on the East; Longs Peak on the North to Roth Rock on the south.
