Shortest Month, Biggest Savings

February 2024 calendar with pages blowingFebruary goes by fast. If you’re not a fan of winter weather, that might be a relief. But instead of hunkering down and waiting for winter to be over, this February, you’re going to want to act quickly.

That’s because for this month only, Efficiency Works has a 50% discount on home energy assessments. That savings now could mean greater energy savings for you year-round.

New to Efficiency Works? That’s the energy efficiency program that we operate in cooperation with our neighboring cities (Loveland, Fort Collins, Estes Park) and our wholesale electric provider, Platte River Power Authority. For 10 years, we’ve been helping our residents and businesses save energy, which has often helped them save money as well.

The front door for all of that is an Efficiency Works energy assessment. That’s where an energy adviser visits and looks for energy-saving opportunities, such as better windows, improved insulation or a smart thermostat to better regulate the temperature. That assessment, in turn, can open up opportunities for efficiency rebates on the recommended work.

For a home visit, the assessment typically runs  $60 – already a low cost. But if you register for an assessment by Feb. 29, you can get that full efficiency check-up for only $30.

So get a leap on those home improvement plans. Contact Efficiency Works and get the process started. It’s an opportunity that could brighten your whole year.

It might even get you to like February again.
