If you were a student or supporter of Longmont High School in the early ‘90s, you remember The Team.

Everyone knew them. The unbeatable Trojans. The football team that stormed its way to 45 straight wins, three state championships and a brilliant national spotlight. During that time, anyone connected in any way with “Big Blue” found every opportunity to share their Longmont pride.

We still like to brag about what Longmont does well – especially when it comes to a certain high-speed fiber network. And these days, there are a lot more opportunities to brag than there used to be.

We’ve just added one more.

This may feel familiar to some of you. After all, you haven’t been shy about sharing your appreciation for NextLight. There have been plenty of comments on Facebook, on Reddit, in the paper – heck,  for all I know, some of you have been flagging passing UFOs to tell them about our speed, reliability and national acclaim. (This is Boulder County, after all.) And yes, we’ve seen a number of reviews on the Longmont Power & Communications Google Business page … but since LPC draws a number of searchers who are looking for electric information, we wanted to make things clearer for fans of both utilities.

So stop on by. Share the love. We know that NextLight’s biggest strength is its community – which keeps growing every day – and we can’t wait to see what you have to say to the rest of the world.
