Something New in Store
Something New in Store
Three words have never held so much power: Open for Business.
We’ve seen them at our home base at the Longmont Service Center, which recently re-opened, carefully and cautiously, to our customers on a limited basis.
We’ve started to see it in our local businesses as they adapt to the needs of COVID-19 protection and crack open their doors to visitors. (Much to the delight of my ward Missy, I might add, who has missed her downtown visits.)
We’ve seen suspended activities resume a more normal routine, such as our meter readers who return to gated backyards on Monday, June 15.
Now, it’s time for a virtual re-opening as well.
The Efficiency Works Store is back in business.
Mind you, its temporary closure didn’t have anything to do with coronavirus. (Electrons, thankfully, have no need to social distance.) Instead, the store has been taking time for an upgrade, giving it a great new look and feel while still providing the simple items that can help you save energy, water and money.
If you’re not familiar with the store, this is a great time to make introductions. The Efficiency Works Store exclusively serves the four Platte River Power Authority communities – Longmont, Loveland, Estes Park and Fort Collins – allowing rebates on items such as advanced power strips, LED light bulbs, smart thermostats and even water-saving shower heads.
It’s always been a convenient way to pursue home efficiency without leaving home. And these days, it’s one more way to stay safe and healthy while still finding what you need to save money, even in the warmer months with their summer electric rates.
Go ahead and check it out at www.efficiencyworksstore.com. Browse the shelves and see what you think.
It may just open up some new possibilities for you.
