Spend your afternoon, evening with author Sy Montgomery

Join beloved author and naturalist Sy Montgomery for two presentations with the Longmont Public Library:

 

  • An Afternoon with Sy Montgomery for K-12th graders: 4-5 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 8 in the Longmont Library Meeting Rooms, 409 4th Ave. Registration required here, or by calling 303-651-8477.
  • An Evening with Sy Montgomery for Adults: 7-9 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at the Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road. Sy will be available for book signing after the talk. Registration required here or by calling 303-651-8472.

Called “one of our finest chroniclers of the natural world” by The New York Times, Sy Montgomery has written more than 34 books for both adults and children that have garnered many honors. “The Soul of an Octopus” was a 2015 Finalist for the National Book Awards. “The Good Pig,” her memoir of life with her pig, is an international bestseller.
