Summertime is Splash Time!

Enjoy fun in the sun this summer at Longmont’s swimming pools and parks. Splash pads at Stephen Day Park, 1340 Deerwood Drive, and Sandstone Ranch Park, 3001 E. Highway 119, will be turned on on Saturday, May 26. Splash pads are open from 8 am to 8 pm daily.

Sunset Pool, 1900 Longs Peak Avenue, opens with pre-summer hours on Friday, May 25. Sunset Pool features a heated outdoor pool for the entire family, six lap lanes, a large wading area, three diving boards, and two fast and fun waterslides (slides are turned on at 1pm M-F). Kanemoto Activity Pool, 1151 S. Pratt Parkway, and Roosevelt Activity Pool, 903 8th Avenue, open Friday, June 1. Activity Pools are for children age 10 and younger.
