Thanks a Million (Plus)
Thanks a Million (Plus)
At this time of year, it’s great to be thankful for simple things. Like, say, energy efficiency.
Especially when you save enough electricity to power Lyons.
That’s not an exaggeration. Through the end of September, Longmont homes and business collectively saved over 1.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity through the Efficiency Works program. That’s enough power to light up our neighbors in Lyons for about three months. All starting from the single, simple choice to be energy-aware.
How simple is it? Well, consider this:
- A basic low-cost energy assessment for your home can help you identify the opportunities and then take advantage of rebates on related home improvements. Income-qualified customers can even get access to free energy improvements for a number of qualifying projects through Energy Outreach Colorado’s CARE program.
- If you want to go a more basic route, check out the quick-and-easy improvements in the Efficiency Works Store. It’s a great place to pick up LED light bulbs (including holiday lights), smart thermostats , or even advanced power strips to help banish your home’s energy vampires.
- Want to get down to business? Your company can take advantage of an energy assessment
,too and unlock rebates and incentives for a number of improvement projects.
Ready to flip the switch? Just reach out to Efficiency Works to get started.
You could end up with a lot to be thankful for.
