Longmont Recognized for Exceptional Use of Data and Evidence to Improve Residents’ Lives
The City of Longmont is proud to announce that it has achieved What Works Cities Certification in recognition of its exceptional use of data to guide decision-making and improve residents’ lives. Stay Safe – Call Before You Dig!
Spring is a popular time to dig into yard work and construction projects… but if you’re not careful, you could dig right into a utility line! Remember, Colorado law requires you to call 811 at least three business days before you do any excavation work, so that all utilities in the area can be notified and mark their lines with paint or flags. Breaking a utility line can be expensive and even dangerous for services like power or gas lines, so always remember to call before you dig! For more information, visit LongmontColorado.gov and search “Before You Dig” or call 800-922-1987.
Film at the Museum: ‘Jiro Dreams of Sushi’

Despite its humble appearances, people make reservations months in advance! Complements the Museum’s current exhibit, “Washi Transformed: New Expressions in Japanese Paper.” Learn more and buy tickets at LongmontMuseum.org or by calling 303-651-8374.
