When fishing; collect your hooks and lines!

Discarded or lost fishing line pose a serious threat to birds. Getting tangled makes it hard to move, eat or escape from predators. Swallowing hooks or lines can cause serious health issues. This year we’ve witnessed several heartbreaking cases where birds were injured – or had to be euthanized – due to fishing line and hooks. Please collect discarded lines and hooks, and help protect these beautiful creatures.
