Be a Smarty-plants: Trim Around Your Meters
When it’s time to do the yard work, don’t forget to take a few minutes and keep the area around your utility meters clear. City workers read over 68,000 water and electric meters every month, and you can help that happen quickly by keeping tall grass or vegetation from blocking access. If you’d rather not have the monthly visit, the City can install remotely read meters for a one-time fee; just call 303-651-8657 (electric) or 303-651-8468 (water) for more information.
