Enjoy a “Book and Film Tasting” at the Library
Prepare yourself for Wintertime Bingo at the Library, 409 4th Avenue, with new books, films, and genres you may not be familiar with. From 1 to 3 pm on Sunday, January 6, settle in at a “café table” with a display of a genre of book or film and peruse a menu of displayed items along with tips on how to “taste” a book or film. Sample items at any or all tables, and make notes of those you’d like to check out. Enjoy the expertise of a “waiter” (a.k.a librarian) who can suggest, clarify, and recommend similar titles. Light refreshments will be served to whet your palate. No registration required.
