RIDE Longmont Debuts Dec 9
Introducing RIDE Longmont – an easy and affordable public transit option available on demand. Service is available Monday through Saturday, 6 am-8 pm, and Sunday 9 am-5 pm. Rides cost just $2 or less. Students and seniors ride for just $1 per trip! Friends of the Longmont Library December Book Sale
Shop an extensive collection of books in Library’s lobby. This sale, organized by the volunteers of the Friends of the Longmont Library, directly support the Library’s programs, resources, and services. Sale starts Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4:30-8 pm (Members only), and continues Dec. 12, 9 am to 8 pm, Dec. 13, 9 am to 5 pm, and Dec. 14 from 9 am to 5 pm. Boulder International Film Festival Short Films

Callahan Holiday Décor Open House
The historic Callahan House, 312 Terry St., will host an open house from 4:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, Dec. 12 featuring holiday decorations. Santa will not be present. Longmont Lights!
Longmont Lights!, the annual holiday celebration, runs December 13-14 in Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Avenue. The lights, sponsored by NextLight, are lit nightly through early January 2025. Scheduled events on Friday (from 5-8 pm) include Santa’s craft workshop (Memorial Building); visits with Santa (Senior Center); ice skating (Ice Pavilion – admission fees apply) and fire pits, hot cocoa carts and a laser show (Roosevelt Park). Food vendors will have items for purchase. The Timeless Holiday Tales holiday parade begins on Main Street at 5 pm on Saturday.
