Film: “American Graffiti” (1973)

Art & Sip: Maroon Bells Felting
Learn beginner needle felting techniques to create a two-dimensional landscape image of the Maroon Bells peaks on fabric in this Longmont Museum Art & Sip class Thursday, Feb. 19 at 4 pm and 6:30 pm. Free Aquatics Job Expo
Dive into an evening of discovery and fun from 5:30-7pm, Saturday, Feb. 21 at the free aquatics job expo at the Recreation Center, 310 Quail Rd. Explore swim jobs through hands-on activities, watch lifeguard demos, and take behind-the-scenes tours. Optional: bring your swimsuit if you want to get in the water for games, diving board competitions, skills practice and to take a job-required swim test. Gardening Fair, Garden Book Sale
It’s time to get excited for growing season! The Library’s Gardening Fair is this Sunday, Feb. 22, from 1–4 pm in the Library Meeting Rooms. Ask questions, explore local resources and start planning your garden. The Friends of the Longmont Library will be hosting a gardening-specific book sale during the Fair. Arbor Day Tree Sale Lottery
Longmont’s annual community tree sale runs March 2-8. Coordinated by City of Longmont Forestry Services, the sale offers a variety of trees to Longmont residents for just $60 each: below wholesale cost.
