In the Event of a Critical Emergency …
In the event of a critical emergency (i.e. flood, wildland fire, etc.) you may be asked to evacuate your home within 15 minutes. Do you know what you would gather? During a crisis, it is difficult to decide what you should take and put this plan in motion. Thinking about this now will make this process easier. Take the time to make a list of the critical minimal items you would need to remove during that 15 minutes. Consider items that are not replaceable and how you would transport them and in what container. Also consider determining a location to meet other family members. Find more emergency preparedness information.
