Coffee with Council is This Saturday 
Longmont City Council will host Coffee with Council from 9 to 10 am on Saturday, February 28, at the Longmont Museum, 400 Quail Road. At this event, you can talk informally with at least two council members on any topic of your choice. Council members Sarah Levison and Jeff Moore are scheduled to attend. Spring Autism Spectrum Event at the Longmont Public Library 

Come to the library on Sunday, March 1, 11 am to 1 pm for a special, free program created just for you. It’s LEGO Build & Browse! ASD youth and their families (including siblings not on the autism spectrum) will have VIP access to the library before regular open hours to browse the materials, watch short LEGO films, and do LOTS of LEGO building. Celebrate Chinese New Year
The Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont invites the public to a celebration of Chinese New Year from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday, February 28, at Silver Creek High School, 4901 Nelson Road. Enjoy lion dancing, martial arts demonstrations, taiko drums, Asian music and food, and much more. This event is free.

Learn About Major City Construction Projects

The public is invited to an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on Wednesday, March 4, at the Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Avenue, where you can learn about several very important construction projects beginning in Longmont this year: Focus on South Main Street, Sunset Street Bridge and Corridor, and the St. Vrain Creek Improvement Project. City staff and project consultants will present information on design and construction plans for each project and answer your questions. New Volunteer Opportunities at Sandstone

Do you enjoy being outside? Are you interested in the history and natural, open space areas of Longmont? If so, you’re invited to the Sandstone Ranch Visitors Center, 3001 E. Highway 119, from 10 am to noon on Saturday, March 7, for a morning of socializing and light refreshments and to learn about exciting new volunteer opportunities available through the City of Longmont. Puck o’ the Irish Adult Hockey Tournament

The Puck o’ the Irish is back for another round of great hockey action March 13 through 15. One division, Intermediate (low B, high c), will be offered. Get a team together and play in this fast-paced, four-game-minimum tournament that includes two breakfasts and lunch on Saturday sponsored by Play It Again Sports. All games will be refereed by an official from the Colorado Ice Hockey Referees Association. Full hockey gear is required, and free agent goalies and players are welcome to register.
